Awareness activities are going on in block Kouli of Patiala district under the 100 days TB campaign launched by the health department. Under this, people are being made aware about TB by the health workers. About this, Block Kouli Senior Medical Officer and District TB Control Officer Dr. Gurpreet Singh Nagra visited various Ayushman Arogya centers and checked about other health facilities provided to people including tuberculosis.
On this occasion Dr. Nagra said that under the goal of making the country TB free, efforts are being made by the department on war level. He said that although TB is an infectious disease, if it is diagnosed and treated on time, it is completely curable. Dr. Emphasizing the need for collective action to end TB, Nagra said that our joint efforts are needed to end TB.
