A Jugadu Rehda driver was killed in a road accident near Lalihandi filling station on the Dharamkot-Jogewala main road here this afternoon. The accident is said to have occurred due to a deep pothole on the road. The wheelbarrow driver was going to the nearby village after loading manure, when he reached the closed Ramdas Hospital, the balance of the wheelbarrow lost its balance due to a pothole on the road and collided with a tractor coming ahead. The deceased has been identified as Anup Singh son of Bhola Singh resident of Mahlewala. According to the information, Anup had been running his Jugadu Rehda here for a long time and was running his household. Police station chief Bhalwinder Singh said that due to the sudden accident, a mutual agreement was reached between the two parties, due to which no police action is being taken.
