The Joint Teacher Morcha Punjab has condemned the threatening letter of no-work-no-salary issued by the Education Secretary to intimidate the teachers who are struggling for their rightful demands. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government, which came to power with the slogan of revolution, has deviated from the path shown by the martyrs and instead of accepting the rightful demands of the employees, it has taken the path of federal strangulation of the struggling teachers.
Joint Teacher Morcha State Coordinator Kuldeep Singh Runka said that an emergency virtual meeting of the organization was held after the threat letter of the Education Secretary went viral. He said that the issue of the threatening letter will be taken up in the meeting with the Education Minister on December 19. He said that it is the constitutional right of the employees to struggle for their rights, but instead of giving justice, the rulers are resorting to black laws to silence the teachers. Which will not be tolerated at all. He said that if the meeting with the education minister on December 19 does not reach any conclusion, then the next program will be drawn up to intensify the struggle.
