Safar-e-Shahadat: Ceremony at Gurdwara Sri Manji (Bauli) Sahib

Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee organized a function today at Gurdwara Sri Manji (Bauli) Sahib in Ambala city under the Safar-e-Shahadat series dedicated to the martyrdom of Mata Gujar Kaur, four Sahibzades and all martyrs. On this occasion, Hazuri Ragi Bhai Jabartor Singh from Darbar Sahib Sri Amritsar Sahib, Hazuri Ragi Bhai Gursevak Singh Rangeela from Gurdwara Sri Guru Granthsar Dadu Sahib performed Vakirtan and Bhai Lakhwinder Singh Paras’ Dhadi Jathe sang Dhadi Vaar to entertain the devotees. Uncle Harmilap Singh and his sister Anshpreet Kaur from Dhannatodi paid homage to the martyrs through a poetic composition. Jathedar Baljit Singh Daduwal, chairman of the Dharma Prachar Committee of the Haryana Committee, said that there is no other person who sacrificed for the country, nation and religion as much as Guru Gobind Singh. Senior Vice President Sudarshan Singh Sehgal also addressed.

Ceremony at Gurdara Attaksar Sahib

Morinda (Sanjiv Tejpal): The Safar-e-Shahadat caravan of the shrines where Guru Gobind Singh stayed with the younger Sahibzades Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh by Mata Gujri after his family separation on the Sarsa river. The series of religious events was initiated by Gurudwara Kumma Mashki Sahib Patan Chak Dher, the second stage of Safar-e-Shahadat in village Saheri. Bhai Mahaveer Singh, Bhai Gurpreet Singh Khalsa Hazuri Ragi Sri Darbar Sahib Sri Amritsar Sahib, Bhai Satnam Singh Koharaka, Bhai Devinder Singh Hazuri Ragi Sri Darbar Sahib Wale, Bhai Karnail Singh and Bhai Nachhatar in a religious ceremony at Gurdwara Attaksar Sahib, home of Gangu Brahmin. Singh Kirtni Jathas connect the Sangat with Sikh history through kirtan.
