Punjab News: The bus strike is over, roadways lorries will run as usual from tomorrow

Punjab News: The three-day statewide strike started by PRTC, Punjab Roadways and Punjab Contract Union from Monday continued on Tuesday for the second day. Meanwhile, the union has ended the strike after the Chief Minister gave the meeting time on January 15.

According to this decision, the bus service will start as usual from tomorrow, January 8, which will bring relief to the common people. It is to be noted that due to the strike, the passengers were facing huge difficulties.

Harkesh Viki, the spokesperson of the union, has informed about the end of the strike. He has also shown a letter from the Chief Minister regarding getting the time of the meeting. This letter addressed to Union President Resham Singh Gill from the office of the Chief Minister, Punjab is signed by the Deputy Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister.

In it, the union members have been given a meeting with the Chief Minister on January 15 and asked them to reach the meeting on time. It has been written in the letter that the union’s demands will be discussed in the meeting.
