The monthly gathering of Punjabi Sahitya Sabha was held under the leadership of Avtar Singh Otala, which began with the interpretation of Gurbani Shabad Keetran by Harbans Singh Shan. Sukhwinder Singh Bittu Khannewala was the first to sing a religious song paying homage to the Chote Sahibzades.

Various writers made constructive comments in the debate on the works read. In the second round of the meeting, Gurpreet Guri Turmari gave basic information while reading a pamphlet about the life of the famous Dhadi Balwinder Singh.
