Sikh thinker Baba Bakshish Singh was murdered by unknown persons on Saturday night. Although they narrowly escaped the attack, a bullet hit their car. According to information, Baba Bakshis Singh Langhi was returning home in Patiala by car from his village Nijamaniwala near Samana at midnight. Meanwhile, when the new bus reached the stand, three cars started chasing their car. One of these cars also hit them, but the driver accelerated the car. One of the attackers fired a shot at them, which hit the car’s engine and they escaped. After that the attackers also escaped. The police of the Urban Estate police station have registered a case against unknown persons and started searching for the attackers. It is being told that the attackers were traveling in Scorpio, Brezza and Swift cars. In this regard, SSP Dr. Under the supervision of Nanak Singh and the leadership of SP City Sarfaraj Alam, SP (D) Vibhab Chaudhary, other police forces including CIA Patiala in-charge Shaminder Singh and Urban Estate Head Inspector Amandeep Singh Brar are thoroughly investigating the case.
