A five-storied building collapsed in Suhana village of Mohali this evening due to which many people are feared to have been killed. It is known that fifty to hundred people are trapped under the debris in this building. According to Zee Punjabi, there used to be a gym in this building and a large number of young people are exercising in the evening. Currently, the police and other rescue teams have reached and relief operations have been started. It is also known that a large number of people of the village have started the relief work themselves, but the debris of the building has spread far due to which the relief work is taking time.
It has been found that quarters were also made in this five-storey building in which many migrant families were living. According to the information, the basement was being dug in the building next to this building, due to which cracks appeared in the five-storied building and the entire building next to it collapsed. A gym named Royal was running in this building.
