Punjab Roadways/Punbus/PRTC A gate rally was held outside the Hoshiarpur depot under the leadership of state leader Kulwant Singh in favor of the demands of the workers by the contract workers union. On this occasion, Kulwant Singh said that three years have passed since the AAP government came to power, but the government has not fulfilled the promises made to the employees during the elections. He said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann had announced before coming to power that all raw employees of Punjab would be fixed and the contract system would be abolished but this has not happened till date.
He said that demand letters will be given to all MLAs on December 22 and gate rallies will be held on January 2. Apart from this, there will be a complete Chakka Jam on 6, 7 and 8 January while a dharna will be held in front of the Chief Minister’s house on 7 January. If there is still no solution, an indefinite strike will be held. On this occasion, Dipu President Raminder Singh, Secretary Narinder Singh, Cashier Dharminder Singh and Vice President Davinder Singh were present.
