New Delhi, December 16
Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh was trolled online today for writing Panjab instead of Punjab in a tweet and not tagging the Indian tricolor with the tweet. The singer, however, dismissed the critics as ‘idle’ calling it a conspiracy.
Punjabi
If someone tweets with Punjab 🇮🇳 flag mention, then it is a conspiracy.
There was also one place mentioned in Bengaluru’s tweet..
Agar Punjab Ko PANJAB Likha toh Conspiracy
Want to eat Punjab, read Punjab..
Punjab Punjab Hee Rehna 😇

Dosanjh further said, “If you don’t mention the flag in a tweet, it becomes a conspiracy. Even my Bengaluru tweet did not have the flag. If Punjab was written as Panjab, then there was a conspiracy. Punjab written or Panjab, living is Punjab only. Panj Ab- 5 Darya is a salute to those who are using foreign languages to promote conspiracy theories. In future I will write PANJAB in Punjabi, as in Gurmukhi. I know you guys are not going to stop. So stick with it. How many times do we have to prove that we love India? Do something new or have you got the task of plotting against me? #Vihle.” The singer has also attached a screenshot of his previous posts with the tweet. Doosanjh is currently on his ‘Dil-Luminati India Tour’, which started on October 26 from New Delhi. It will end on December 29 in Guwahati. Dosanjh is scheduled to perform in Mumbai on December 19 as the next leg of his journey. -News-Patiala
