Patiala Kali Mata Temple Theft: Complaint Filed Against Temple Employees

A complaint has been filed against temple employees in connection with the theft of offerings from the famous historical Kali Mata Temple in Patiala. The complaint alleges that temple employees have been stealing money from the temple’s offerings box for some time now.

The complaint was filed by the Nishkam Seva Society, a religious organization that manages the Kali Mata Temple. The complaint states that on September 26, 2023, between 2.30 pm and 3 pm, bundles of 500 rupee notes went missing from the temple’s offerings box. The complaint also alleges that this has happened on several occasions in the past.

The complainants have demanded that the administration secure the footage from the temple’s CCTV cameras and investigate the matter thoroughly. They have also demanded that FIRs be registered against any temple employees found guilty of theft.

The Kali Mata Temple is one of the most popular religious sites in Patiala. It is visited by thousands of devotees every day. The theft of offerings from the temple has come as a shock to the devotees and has raised concerns about the security of the temple.

The police have registered a complaint and are investigating the matter.
