CM Mann’s Gift to Ludhiana Residents: Rs 101 Crore for Building Houses

News Patiala:- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann distributed payment certificates to 25,000 beneficiaries of the state under Pradhan Mantri Shahri Awas Yojana in Ludhiana on Tuesday. The event was held at Dr. Manmohan Singh Stadium, PAU.

CM Mann said that the people of Punjab will get a benefit of Rs 101 crore under the scheme. He also announced that 50 new tractors worth Rs 23 crore have been given to the Municipal Corporation for garbage collection and gardening.

In his address, CM Mann said that it is the duty of governments to provide food, clothing, and housing to every person. He added that the AAP government in Punjab is investing people’s money in the interest of the people.

“We have stopped the leakage of public taxes. The money that used to go into the pockets of politicians is now going to the public,” said CM Mann.

He also said that he would live up to the trust reposed in him by the people by making him the Chief Minister. “There is no such file, which is blocked by my signature,” he added.
