Patiala, July 13, 2023 – The army and the Patiala administration rescued two people trapped in flood water in Malkan Roorkee and Rohar Jagir villages of Dudhansadhan sub-division on Wednesday.
The two people rescued were a woman, an old man, and a young man. They were surrounded by flood water and were in danger of drowning.
The administration received a tip-off about the two people being trapped in the flood water and immediately dispatched a team of army personnel and civil administration officials to the scene.
The team was able to rescue the two people and bring them to safety. They were later taken to a hospital for treatment.
The successful rescue operation was carried out under the leadership of DC Patiala, Sakshi Sawhney.
This is just one of the many rescue operations that have been carried out by the army and the Patiala administration in recent days. The two organizations have been working tirelessly to help those affected by the recent floods in the region.
