At Bishan Nagar here, two persons with their faces tied robbed a shopkeeper of fifty thousand rupees in broad daylight. After committing the robbery, the persons locked the shopkeeper inside the shop and fled from there.
After this, when the shopkeeper made a noise, the neighbors who reached the spot immediately informed the police. After this, the police of Lahori Gate police station reached the spot and started the investigation. The statement of the victim shopkeeper is being recorded.
Giving information about this, shopkeeper Upinder Joshi said that his old Bishan Nagar is a shop of Gobind Communication. Where they do all types of insurance on money transfer, electricity bill, railway ticket booking’ photostat.
Today, when he reached his shop around half past eleven, he had opened his counter when two persons came with their faces covered and put a pistol on his head.
Before they knew anything, he took all the cash out of his bag and handed it to them. After committing the robbery, the persons pushed them inside the shop and closed the outer shutter and they escaped from the spot.
