NEET-UG Result 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the results of NEET-UG 2023, the national-level entrance exam for undergraduate medical admissions. The results are available on the NTA’s official website, neet.nta.nic.in.
To check your result, follow these steps:
- Visit the NTA website.
- Click on the “Result” link.
- Enter your application number and date of birth.
- Click on “Submit”.
- Your result will be displayed on the screen.
- You can also download a copy of your result for future reference.
Reservation in NEET-UG
The government has reserved 15% of seats in each course for Scheduled Castes (SC), 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes (ST), and 5% for Persons with Disabilities (PwBD).
The reservation is implemented through a process called “horizontal reservation”. This means that the seats are reserved for SC, ST, and PwBD candidates within each category of seats, such as General, General-EWS, and OBCNCL.
