Tehsildar Navpreet Singh, who has served in Rajpura Tehsil, has been suspended from his job. This action has been taken on the complaint of Neena Mittal, MLA from the Rajpura constituency.
In the past few days, the public gave a complaint to Rajpura MLA Neena Mittal. In Rajpura Tehsil, then Tehsildar Navpreet Singh has done many registrations without NOC. So that only a select few can benefit.
Neena Mittal took action after receiving complaints from people. Handing over the necessary documents to Revenue Minister Brahm Shankar Jimpa for its investigation, he demanded strict action. Revenue Minister Gimpa conducted a fair investigation and completed the investigation.
Tehsildar Navpreet Singh, of Rajpura Tehsil, was suspended on 30 August 2022 in the case of making registrations in violation of Punjab government rules.
Constituency MLA Neena Mittal appreciated this step of her government. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has always stood shoulder to shoulder with the people. It will not tolerate any kind of corruption with the general public. He said that after the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party government, these orders were given to the government employees present in all the government offices.
The hon’ble government will not tolerate any kind of corruption. If any employee is found guilty. Strict action will be taken against him.
The action taken with the former tehsildar is also a part of the same link. MLA Neena Mittal appealed to the people of Rajpura. If there is corruption in any government office in the Rajpura constituency. So they must give me his information so that strict action can be taken against that corrupt person. Punjab can be made colorful again by making Punjab free from corruption.
