News Patiala: 22nd August 2022 The health department has launched a campaign against dairies. , the department is now conducting random checks of dairies. The teams of the department have also filled 9 samples for checking the quality of milk from the dairies in the nearby areas of the city. Which has been sent to Kharar Laboratory for testing. The health officials have instructed the dairy owners that if any sample is found to fail, action will be taken by the department as per the instructions of the Commissioner of Food and Drugs.
Efforts are being made by the health department to provide clean food items to the people. The teams of the district health department have started checking the dairies under a special campaign on the instructions of the Commissioner of Food and Drugs. During the last two days, the teams of the department have checked the dairies of Sirhind, Tripuri, and Rajpura. Meanwhile, 9 milk samples have been collected from suspected dairies. This campaign will continue from August 20 to August 26. The teams included Food Safety Officer Puneet Sharma, Gagandeep Kaur, and Kanwardeep Singh. By whom the dairies/shops selling milk are being checked. The collected samples have been sealed and sent for laboratory testing. If an error is found in these samples, further action will be taken by the department.

So, the department has now started a campaign for the quality of milk, and sampling is also being done by checking. If the samples are found to be unsuccessful, the department will also take action on the instructions of the Food and Drug Commissioner. This campaign will continue in the coming days as well.
