Confirming this, the district epidemiologist Dr. Sumit Singh said that recently the health department had received information that a 22-year-old youth from village Duddar is suffering from swine flu.
As his condition became serious, he was admitted to PGI Chandigarh. Because he was in a lot of trouble for the last six months due to a respiratory complaint. After this he got swine flu. His condition became more serious due to swine flu.
Due to the seriousness of the disease in the past days, he succumbed to treatment in the hospital and he was cremated as per the instructions of the health department. It must be mentioned that a fifty-year-old man living in Purana Bishan Nagar also died of swine flu recently.
Now, after the death of the youth, the number of people who have died due to swine flu has increased to 2 in the district.
