Relief from the suspension may be available soon
But, AIFF may get rid of this suspension soon. Because earlier this month, an Indian court ordered the elections to be held immediately and said the elected committee would be an interim body for a period of three months.
The AIFF elections, before chaired by FIFA council member Praful Patel, were to be held by December 2020. But it was delayed by a deadlock over amendments to its constitution. The loss of the Indian Football Association had to bear.
