A terrible road accident took place on Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Marg from Banur to Ambala via Tepla. Late last night, the young man in the car died due to a head-on collision between a car and a horse-drawn trailer. Two youths were injured in the accident.
At night, three friends from Jori Nagar Bahadurgarh under the Jhajjar district of Haryana were going to Shimla for their personal work while riding in a car. When the car-riding youth reached the village of Khalour on Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Marg, passing from Banur to Ambala via Tepla, they collided head-on with a horse-drawn trailer coming from the front.
The collision was so terrible that both the vehicles overturned and all the three youths in the car were injured. They were picked up and taken to Chandigarh Sector 32 Hospital for treatment. Where the doctors declared a young man dead.
In this case, the investigating officer ASI Ram Kishan said that the deceased youth has been identified as Vijay Kumar (28) son of Pritam and the injured youths have been identified as Vikas Saini son of Sumer Singh, and Praveen son of Wazir Singh.
He said that the post-mortem of the dead body has been done in the hospital of Sector-32 and handed over to the heirs. The deceased youth has left behind two small children and a wife.
