A case has been registered against Seema Patra, wife of retired IAS and BJP leader, under the SC-ST section along with the IPC section in Argora police station. A case has been registered against Seema Patra under several sections of the IPC. Along with this, a case has also been registered under the SC-ST Act. Hatia DSP Raja Mitra has been made IO investigate the matter.
This case is related to the release of young Sunita, who was held hostage for a long time at the Road Number One residence in Ashok Nagar, Seema Patra. It is alleged that the girl who was kept for domestic work in Seema Patra’s house for the last 8 years was being harassed for a long time.
She was not even allowed to leave the house. The disabled girl, who was held hostage in the house, somehow sent a message on the mobile phone to a government employee named Vivek Anand Baske and informed them about the atrocities being committed against her. On his information, a complaint was lodged at Argora police station. Seema Patra is the wife of former IAS Maheshwar Patra.
The victim Sunita is being treated at RIMS amid tight security after being rescued. Two women security personnel have been deployed to protect the victim Sunita. After being fit, the victim Sunita will be produced in the court. After which the statement of 164 will be recorded. Retired IAS wife Seema Patra’s problems may increase after the victim’s statement under Section 164 is recorded. Argora police can arrest Seema Patra.
