Tests can be given by taking online classes from anywhere
Learning driving licenses have been made online by the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab. As a result, online tests of learning licenses were not conducted on Wednesday at the office of the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Patiala, located in Block-D of the local mini-secretariat.
R. T. A. No need to go to the office
The Hon’ble Government of Punjab has brought relief to the general public by making learning licenses online as now Rs. T. A. No need to go to the office. Earlier, it used to take several days to get the approval of the learning license after getting the photograph taken, while some outsiders conspired to get the print of the learning license on the second day itself.

ਪੰਜਾਬ ‘ਚ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਰਨਿੰਗ ਡਰਾਈਵਿੰਗ ਲਾਇਸੈਂਸ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਚੱਲਦਿਆਂ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਮਿੰਨੀ ਸਕੱਤਰੇਤ ਦੋ ਬਲਾਕ-ਡੀ ਸਥਿਤ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਰਿਜ਼ਨਲ ਟਰਾਂਸਪੋਰਟ ਅਥਾਰਿਟੀ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਲਰਨਿੰਗ ਲਾਇਸੈਂਸਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਟੈਸਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਏ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਲਰਨਿੰਗ ਲਾਇਸੈਂਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਰਫ ਫੋਟੋ ਹੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਮਾਨ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਲਰਨਿੰਗ ਲਾਇਸੈਂਸ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਮ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਹਤ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਈ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਲਰਨਿੰਗ ਲਾਇਸੈਂਸ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਰ. ਟੀ. ਏ . ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਜਾਣ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਲਰਨਿੰਗ ਲਾਇਸੈਂਸ ਦੀ ਫੋਟੋ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਅਪਰੂਵਲ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਈ-ਕਈ ਦਿਨ ਲੱਗ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਕੁਝ ਬਾਹਰੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਮਿਲੀਭੁਗਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਿਨ ਹੀ ਲਰਨਿੰਗ ਲਾਇਸੈਂਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਟ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਸਨ।
