Patiala Police has arrested Gurpreet Singh against whom multiple FIRs have been registered for cheating and fraud on the pretext of sending students abroad. The accused is the owner of an immigration company called UDAAN.
ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਭੇਜਣ ਦਾ ਝਾਂਸਾ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਠੱਗੀ ਮਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਉਡਾਨ ਇੰਮੀਗ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਕੰਪਨੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਲਕ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਠੱਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਅਲਸਾਜ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕਈ ਮੁਕੱਦਮੇ ਦਰਜ ਹਨ।
