The day and night protest at Campus of GuestFaculty Constituent Colleges continued today. They also took out a protest march of Bhai Kahan Singh Library on the streets of the university against the university administration. They protest in front of the office and blamed the university administration for not complying with his demands.
Guest faculty teachers criticized the higher education representatives of the government. Guest faculty teachers condemned the misconduct of the university administration. They said that our legitimate demands to the university administration out of which the main demands should be regularized under a policy. As long as the policy is not in place, the services should be implemented on contract.
The leaders said that Punjabi University has been harassing the guest faculty teachers for a long time. Today many teachers along with their children and families joined the dharna. This dharna of guest faculty continues to be supported by various organizations and unions. Various office bearers of this organization Manoj Ghai (District President), Avtar Singh (State Committee President), Mukhwinder Singh Kali (Block President), and Sandeep Channa (Union Member) were present in the dharna. Amandeep Singh, Prof. Vishal Singla, Prof. Maninder Kaur, etc. were present.
