Guidelines for visitor entry at Punjab Civil Secretariat 1 and 2 to maintain social distance to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic.

Punjab Secretariat Chandigarh, January 12, 2022:
In view of the growing influence of Corona in the Punjab Civil Secretariat, new orders have been issued in view of the entry of visitors.
In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Punjab Civil Secretariat-1 and 2, it was decided that only visitors who have been fully vaccinated for Covid-19 should be admitted to Punjab Civil Secretariat-1 and 2. Now, to avoid the growing influence of the third wave of Covid-19 (Omicron), the following decision has been taken:
A) Except for the officers/employees posted in Punjab Civil Secretariat-1 and 2, if the officer/employee of external department or visitor is required to make an entry in Punjab Civil Secretariat-1 and 2 for urgent work, then the concerned department. An official note will be sent to the reception counter of the Secretariat by the Managing Secretary to make an entry pass by entering the details of the officer/employee/appointment under his signature.
B) Proof of complete immunization of both Covid-19 (both Jhoj) must be shown at the entry gate by the concerned officer/employee/visitor at the time of entry in Punjab Civil Secretariat-1 and 2. In case of non-presentation of the certificate, entry to the Secretariat building will be prohibited.
