1784 polling stations constructed at 1034 places in Patiala district

Patiala News 12th January 2022: 

                        In the forthcoming Assembly elections on February 14, 1503544 voters of eight Assembly constituencies in Patiala district will exercise their democratic right at 1784 polling stations set up at 1034 places. Disclosing this here today District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Hans said that polling stations have been set up at 1034 places in the district out of which one polling station at 551 places, two polling stations at 308 places, and 101 polling stations. With the setting up of three polling stations, four polling stations at 56 places, and five polling stations at 18 places, the total number of polling stations in the district has increased to 1784.

Disclosing this here today the District Electoral Officer said that 226 polling stations have been set up at 145 places in Nabha Assembly constituency out of which one polling station has been set up at 86 places and at 46 places. Two polling stations, three polling stations at 7 places, four at 3 places, and five polling stations at 3 places have been set up. Giving information about Patiala Rural, he said that 258 polling stations have been set up at 114 places, out of which one polling station at 41 places, two at 32, three at 19, four at 14, and five at 8 places. Polling stations have been set up where voters will exercise their voting right on February 14.

Out of 201 polling stations set up at 112 places in Vidhan Sabha constituency Rajpura, one polling station has been set up at 61 places, two at 28, three at 10, four at 11, and five at two places. In the Ghanour Assembly constituency 210 polling stations have been set up at 148 places, out of which one polling station has been set up at 96 places, two at 44, three at 7, and five at one place.

In Sanour Assembly constituency 270 polling stations have been set up at 181 places, out of which one at 120 places, two at 45, three at 8, four at 4, and four at 5 places. Are Similarly 182 polling stations have been set up at 67 places in Patiala city out of which one at 11 places, two at 15 places, three at 23 places, and four at 18 places. In the Samana Assembly constituency, 232 polling stations have been set up at 150 places, out of which one polling station has been set up at 87 places, two at 46, three at 15, and four at two places. Similarly, 205 polling stations have been set up at 117 places in Halqa Shutrana, out of which one polling station has been set up at 49 places, two at 52, three at 12, and four at four places.
