Health Department has issued helpline numbers for Covid

In view of the increasing cases of Covid in the district, the Health Department has issued helpline numbers for Covid. At the same time, nursing homes including government and private hospitals have been asked to set up flu corners outside the OPD. Civil Surgeon Dr.Prince Sodhi said that patients are reaching government and private hospitals for treatment. For this reason, hospitals can become hot spots. A suspected patient of Covid can worsen the condition of the patients already admitted to the hospital.
So, make and follow the Infection Control Protocol in every hospital, get the COVID test done immediately. If the staff has COVID symptoms and set up flu corners for suspected patients outside the main OPD of the hospital. After screening there, the patient should be sent to the hospital.
The Health Department has issued helpline numbers 0175-5127793 and 0175-5128793 to get any kind of information related to Covid, while for any kind of medical help for Covid, on mobile number 88377-34514 or 62801-03430 from 9 am to evening. Calls can be made up to five o’clock.
