DC and SSP transfers in Punjab by-election commission: Punjab Assembly elections

Election Commission (EC) on Tuesday transferred 2 DC and 8 SSP in the Punjab state.

 Ahead of Punjab Assembly elections, Election Commission (EC) on Tuesday transferred two deputy commissioners-cum-district election officers (DEOs) and eight senior superintendents of police (SSPs) in the Punjab state.

Giving details, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Punjab Dr. S Karuna Raju said the EC has appointed  two deputy commissioners-cum-district election officers (DEOs)

1. Girish Dayalan to DC Ferozepur,
2. Vineet Kumar to DC Bathinda.

The EC has appointed eight senior superintendents of police (SSPs) in the Punjab state.

1. Harjeet Singh to SSP SAS Nagar
2. Dhruman H Nimbale to SSP Hoshiarpur
3. Patil Ketan Baliram to SSP Ludhiana Rural
4. Deepak Hilori to SSP Amritsar Rural
5. Gulneet Singh Khurana to SSP Tarn Taran
6. Amneet Kondal to SSP Bathinda
7. Sandeep Kumar Malik to SSP Sri Muktsar Sahib
8. Sartaj Singh Chahal to SSP Fatehgarh Sahib
