With the forthcoming Assembly elections looming, the political atmosphere is heating up and various candidates are filing their nomination papers. After the resignation of Capt. Amarinder Singh as the Chief Minister of Punjab on November 2, 2021, he formed the Punjab Lok Congress Party.
Before taking the nomination from Patiala urban constituency today on 31st January, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji received the blessing of the kirpan.
