News Patiala, July 8, 2022: Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni said that under Adip Scheme in District Patiala, Artificial Limb Manufacturing Corporation would provide equipment to Diwang persons. Under this, Divyang persons who need tricycle, wheelchair, prosthesis, ear machine, caliper, forks, stick, stick for blind person etc. can register at their nearest CSC center.
Disclosing this here today District Social Security Officer Jobandeep Kaur said that under Adip scheme Artificial Limb Manufacturing Corporation would soon organize an assessment camp for providing equipment to Diwang people, so Diwang people must get their first registration. He said that at the time of registration, Divyangajan Certificate (Divinity Percentage 40% or more), Aadhaar Card / Voter Card / Ration Card, one photo and income certificate of Rs. 22,500 / – per month or less are required. This certificate should be issued / attested by the Sarpanch / Councilor / Tehsildar / Staff Officer / Competent Authority.
