Mahakumbha: Yogi bathed in Triveni Sangam with ministers

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and his cabinet ministers took a bath in the Triveni Sangam today during the ongoing Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. On this occasion, both Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak along with 54 ministers, including the Cabinet and Minister of State, were with them. Chief Minister Yogi reached the ghat by motorboat. While going to the Ganga Ghats, they also clothed the migratory birds.

Before taking a bath, a Uttar Pradesh Cabinet meeting was held under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at Triveni Complex in Prayagraj, in which important decisions were taken to strengthen infrastructure for travelers in the city.

The Chief Minister’s Office said in a post on ‘X’, “During the meeting, important decisions regarding development and public welfare were taken in the state.” The venue of the meeting was changed in view of the traffic being affected. After the meeting, all the ministers reached Triveni Sangam by motorboats. The Chief Minister and Cabinet Ministers worshiped there and bathed in the Sangam. It may be mentioned that after Kumbh-2019, this is the second time that the UP Cabinet meeting has been held in Sangam City. – IANS
