The management committee of DAV Model School, Sector 15 here, with the support of the Arya News-Patiala Council, performed Havan Yag at the Sanatan Dharma temple to mark the beginning of the new year. This Yag Padmasree Dr. Conducted under the leadership of Poonam Suri. Principal of the school Anuja Sharma said that the main objective of the Yag is to create awareness among the students about Indian culture and Vedic rituals. He wished everyone a Happy New Year and appealed for the propagation of Vedic ideology.
