The Supreme Court today stayed the order in which the Delhi government was asked to sign an agreement with the Union Health Ministry by January 5 to implement the ‘PM-Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission’. A bench of Justice BR Gwai and Justice Augustine George Masih has issued a notice to the Center and others to respond to the petition filed by the Delhi government against the December 24, 2024 order of the Delhi High Court.

Senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, appearing for the Delhi government, said that the court should issue a notice on the application as the AAP-led government is being forced to sign an agreement with the central government.
