Tamil Nadu: Walkout from the Legislative Assembly by the Governor

Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi walked out before delivering his speech in the Assembly. In this regard, on X, the Governor said that only the Tamil Vazhathu (provincial song) was sung after his arrival in the House, on which he asked the Chief Minister, the Leader of the House and the Speaker to sing the National Anthem. However, he refused to do so. According to information, some time before the Governor began his speech, members of the main opposition AIADMK gathered in front of the Speaker’s seat and started raising slogans, who were thrown out of the House by the marshals on the instructions of the Speaker.

At the same time, Congress MLAs also tied black armbands and raised slogans against the Governor. After this, BJP and PMK MLAs staged a walkout. -News-Patiala

Leaving House without speech ‘childish’: Stalin

CHENNAI: Chief Minister MK Stalin lashed out at Governor RN Ravi’s action of leaving the House without giving a speech, calling it ‘childish’ and accusing him of continuously insulting the people of the state.
