In nearby village Patti Sahan, the attacker entered the house of an AAP activist and shot him dead. The injured has been identified as Vivek Mattoo (32). Mattu was shot in the leg in this attack. After this, the family members took the injured to Civil Hospital where he is undergoing treatment. Police Station City Sadar SHO Suresh Kumar and Jandiala Chowki in-charge Jasveer Chand are investigating the matter. Vivek Mattu has a rivalry with Mani Bawa and Billa, the youths of the same village. That is why the accused opened fire. The police have recovered bullet casings from the incident site. At present Mattu’s condition is out of danger. A case has been registered by the Sadar police station in this matter.
