Rakesh Tikait, the leader of the United Kisan Morcha, today once again called upon the farmers’ organizations to fight unitedly and said that ‘Batoge to Lutoge’. Tikait has given this invitation on the occasion when the fast to death observed by farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal on the Khanuri border has entered the 21st day. Tikaat has expressed concern over Dallewal’s deteriorating health. At some places in Haryana, including Ambala, Sonepat and Hisar, farmers took out a tractor march today in support of the sit-in by the protesting farmers at the Khanuri and Shambhu borders. Tiqat, who met Dallewal at the Khanuri border last week, while talking to reporters today stressed that farmers’ organizations have to ‘stay united’ for a common fight to support their demands.
