Steps should be taken and demands of farmers should be considered. The government should leave its stand and talk to the farmers and solve their problems. The same government had ended the farmers’ agitation by promising to implement the minimum support price, but the government has forgotten the promise it made to the farmers. If the government has even an iota of respect for the constitution, it should accept the fact that it promised the farmers to implement the minimum support price.
