Andhra Pradesh: A college student committed suicide by jumping from the third floor

A college student in Andhra Pradesh committed suicide by jumping from the third floor. This painful incident is of Narayana Junior College. After the Makar Sankranti vacation, the student reached the college at 9:30 am today. During the tenth period, at 10:15, he left the classroom and stood on the corner of the third floor. He took off his slippers and jumped down. This entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera. In the CCTV footage, it is seen that the student got up from the bench and jumped from the third floor without any panic. Some of his classmates ran out of the classroom immediately after the incident.

Anantapur rural sub-divisional police officer T Venkateshlu said that the incident took place at 11:55 am. The college management immediately rushed the injured student to a local hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. The student has been identified as a resident of Ramapuram village, which belongs to Battenpalli mandal of Sri Sathyasai district. The police said that a case has been registered on the family’s complaint and further investigation is being started. This incident has created an atmosphere of mourning in the entire area.
