On the 33rd death anniversary of Shaheed Ram Prakash Prabhakar today, Union Minister of State for Defense Sanjay Seth reached Kadi and paid tribute to the statue of Shaheed Ram Prakash Prabhakar at Prabhakar Chowk by wearing floral garlands. This event was organized by Shaheed Ram Prakash Prabhakar Seva Samiti Kadian in Dana Mandi.

On this occasion, Minister of State Sanjay Seth said that the martyrdom of Ram Prakash Prabhakar can never be forgotten. He said that in 1971, 90 thousand soldiers of Pakistan Army had surrendered before General Jagjit Singh Arora. He said that India is a strong country and is going to become the third largest power in the world. He said that he wants Punjab to progress. Farmers are also their brothers and they want the farmers to make great progress. On this occasion, National Minority Commission Chairman Iqbal Singh Lalpura said that the people of Punjab have suffered from terrorism for a long time. He said, “After coming out of this dark period, we want Punjab to progress. This progress will be possible only with the arrival of Bharatiya Janata Party. Former Union Minister of State Som Prakash, former Cabinet Minister Punjab Tikshan Sood, senior BJP leader Tarun Chugh, former MP Arvinder Roy Khanna, former RSS Punjab moderator Brij Bhushan Bedi, former MLA Fatehjung Singh Bajwa and Arun Kumar were also present on this occasion. Organizers of the event Virendra Prabhakar and Ashok Prabhakar thanked everyone. On this occasion former MLA Balwinder Singh Ladi, Sant Malkit Nath Maharaj Pawan Bhagwan Sri Valmiki Tirth Amritsar, Nirmale Sant Pujnik Dr. Swami Rameswara Nanda Hari was also present.

Farmers’ opposition to the visit of the Union Minister of State

The Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee Punjab was supposed to protest against the visit of Union Minister of State Sanjay Seth today. When the farmers reached the Dalla Mor and Kot Todar Mall stations here, the police stopped them by putting up barricades. In protest, the leaders of the farmers’ union blocked the Gurdaspur-Sri Hargobindpur road and raised slogans against the central government. He criticized the central government regarding the demands of the farmers. On this occasion, the leaders said that unless the demands of the farmers are accepted, the BJP leaders will be opposed in the same way. District leaders Gurpreet Singh Nanowal, Anup Singh Sultani, Anup Singh Sathyali, Ranjit Singh Chandrabhan, Sukhwinder Singh Alrapindi, Baba Karnail Singh, Ranjit Singh were present on this occasion.
