Tabla player Zakir Hussain (73) has been admitted to a San Francisco hospital after suffering a heart attack. Hussain’s friend and bansuri player Rakesh Chaurasia said that the tabla player has been kept in the ICU. A source close to Hussain said that the US-based musician was suffering from blood pressure problem. According to the source, Hussain was admitted to the San Francisco Hospital last week due to a heart attack. Chaurasia said, “Hussain’s health is critical and he is currently in the ICU.
