Mandhana’s childhood friend Vidyan Mane, who claimed to be present at the wedding functions, has made a shocking claim about Palash. According to Mane, Palash cheated on Smriti and was caught red-handed with another woman on the bed in the room.
Star Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana was to tie the knot with musician Palash Muchhal in November 2025 but the wedding was called off. Now a few months after this much talked about marriage story, Mandhana’s childhood friend Vidyan Mane, who claimed to be present at the wedding functions, has made a shocking claim about Palash. According to Mane, Palash cheated on Smriti and was caught red-handed with another woman on the bed in the room.
“I was at the wedding celebrations (November 23, 2025) when he was caught red-handed with another woman in bed. It was a horrible scene, he was beaten up by the Indian women cricketers. The whole family is Chindi Chor. I thought he would get married and settle down in Sangli, but it completely backfired on me,” Hindustan Times quoted Mane as saying.
According to Mane, he is Smriti’s childhood friend and was introduced to Palash by the Mandhana family. He has also accused Muchhal of defrauding him of over Rs 40 lakh and filed a complaint in Sangli.
“When I met his mother (Amita Muchhal) last month, she said that the budget for the release of the film is now Rs 1.5 crore. They asked me to invest another Rs 10 lakh or else I will not get any money back. They started blackmailing me and threatened to drop me from the film, so I was forced to file a complaint,” he said.
“After the annulment, the family blocked me from everywhere. I came to know that even the other actors of the film did not get the payment they were supposed to get. I had heard that directors are cheating producers in the film industry but this is complete theft,” added Mane.
According to him, he has all the evidence against Palash and he is ready to share it with the police and media to expose the reality of the Muchhal family.
“I have secured all the evidence including my chats and phone conversations which I am ready to share with the police and the media,”
Plash reacts to the allegations
Muchhal posted an Instagram story on Friday through which he responded to the allegations.
“In view of the allegations leveled by Sangli-based Vidyan Mane on social media, I wish to state that these claims against me are completely baseless and factually incorrect. They are made with malicious intent to malign my reputation, and will not go unchallenged. My lawyer, Shreyansh Mithare, is exploring all legal avenues, and the matter will be dealt with strictly through appropriate legal channels.”
