As per the new guidelines of NTA, NEET UG 2026 candidates should keep the following documents updated:
Aadhaar Card: This is the most important ID proof. Make sure your name and date of birth match with your 10th class mark sheet.
PAN Card: May be required as additional identity proof.
Signature: Clear signature in black ink on white paper.
Passport-size photograph: Recent (with white background).
Postcard-size photograph (4″x6″): Mandatory to upload at the time of application.
Thumbprint: Thumb and finger prints of both left and right hands.
10th and 12th Class Marksheets: To prove educational qualifications.
PWBD/Category Certificate: Certificate valid for students availing reservation benefit.

It is mandatory for persons with disabilities (PwD) to update and renew their UDID card. Candidates belonging to EWS, SC, ST, and OBC-NCL categories should ensure that their certificates are updated as per the latest government norms.
