According to the advertisement released by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission, a total of 5,500 constable posts will be filled in the Haryana Police. This recruitment will be done in three different categories:
– 4,500 Posts for Male Constables (General Duty)
– 600 Posts for Women Constables (General Duty)
– 400 posts for Male Constables (GRP).
Both male and female candidates can apply for these posts based on their qualifications.

The online application process for this recruitment will start from 11th January, 2026. Interested candidates can apply on or before 25 January 2026 at 11:59 PM.

– Last Date to Apply: 25th January, 2026 (up to 11:59 PM)
– Application Fee: Zero (No Fee)
– Separate information about admit cards and exam dates will be released later on the HSSC website.
For BCA/BCB/EWS candidates, the supporting certificate should have been issued on or after April 1, 2025, and should be valid till the last date of application. For DSC/OSC candidates, the certificate should have been issued after November 13, 2024. Additionally, for ESM (Ex-Servicemen) family members, the certificate must have been issued or updated on or after January 12, 2025.
For all category 1 to 3 posts, candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board or institute. Besides, education of Hindi or Sanskrit at matric level or above is mandatory. The commission has clarified that no weightage will be given for any higher educational qualification beyond 10+2.
Candidates applying for these posts should be between 18 to 25 years of age. Detailed calculation of age and exemption requirements can be seen in the official notification.
