BHU Jobs 2025: Let’s see the details of the vacancies

This year, total 55 posts are available. Among them are three posts of Principal, 9 for Post Graduate Teachers (PGT), maximum 36 for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), and seven for Primary Teachers (PRT). This means there are opportunities at all levels, whether you want to teach primary school children or 11th-12th graders.

Who can apply?

To become a principal, you must have a master’s degree, B.Ed., with at least 50% marks and a principal, vice-principal, or PGT in a government school. Must have experience as PGT For, Master’s degree (50% marks) in any relevant subject or NCERT. Integrated M.Sc from Regional College of Education Course with B.Ed. will need TGT To become, graduation degree with 50% marks in a relevant subject, four years integrated course, and B.Ed. Plus CTET Must pass. PRT For, you have 50% marks in 12th standard, D.L.Ed. or B.L.Ed., or Diploma in Special Education, and CTET. Must pass. CTET TGT without and PRT Entry into positions is not permitted.

Age limit to apply

The age limit for Principals is 35 to 55 years, while the maximum age limit is 40 years for PGT, 35 years for TGT and 30 years for PRT. The good news is that SCs, STs, OBCs, disabled and ex-servicemen will get age relaxation as per Indian government norms.

How will the selection process be conducted?

First, your application and eligibility will be checked. Then, if required, there will be a written test. Syllabus will be announced later. Then, there will be a presentation and interview. Finally, the documents of the selected people will be verified, and only then they will receive the appointment letter. This means that simply filling out the form will not be enough; Hard work will lead you to selection.

Salary and allowances?

Everyone will get salary based on 7th pay commission. Principals will get a basic salary of ₹78,800 at level 12, PGTs at level 8 will get ₹47,600, TGTs at level 7 will get ₹44,900 and PRTs at level 6 will get ₹35,400. In addition, they will get all regular BHU allowances, such as DA, HRA, medical expenses, and child fee waiver.

How to apply?

First, visit BHU’s official recruitment website, bhu.ac.in/rac. Register there. Login with the username and password received on registration and fill the form. Scan and upload your photo, signature and all certificates. If you belong to General, EWS, or OBC categories, submit the application fee online. SC/ST/Divyangjan and women are exempted from fee. After submitting the form, print it. Self-attest all required documents, put them in an envelope, and send it by speed post or registered post to the following address:
