According to government data, more than 8.5 lakh posts have already been filled in the state in the last 8.5 years. Now, with the new recruitment drive for 2026, the government will come much closer to its ten-year target. The recruitment drive will cover several key departments, such as police, education, revenue, health, housing, child development, nutrition and prisons.

The largest number of posts will be filled in the police and education departments, each of which will have around 50,000 posts. The revenue department will fill around 20,000 posts, while the health, housing, child development, nutrition and prisons departments will also be recruited as per need. This distribution has been done keeping in view the existing vacancies and requirements of the departments.

The state government said that the recruitment advertisements are in the final stages of preparation, and some departments have already started the process. All recruitments will be done in a completely transparent and competency-based manner. A monitoring system has been set up to monitor each phase.

The government says that 1.5 lakh recruitments in a year will be a record in the state’s history. This initiative will provide massive employment opportunities to the youth, reduce unemployment and improve the quality of government services.
