According to this, the Pro model of the iPhone 17 series sold in the US will be different from the model of India and there will be a big difference between the battery.
What will be the difference?
According to media reports, the iPhone 17 series model sold in the US will have a big battery. In comparison, the variants available for sale in India will come with a small battery. In the US, the 17 Pro model battery will support 30 -hour video streaming and 33 hours of local video playback, while the Indian variant will get 28 hours of video streaming and 31 -hour local video playback.
Why the difference in battery capacity?
Apple has not clarified the reason behind the big battery in the iPhone model in the US. However, it is believed that the models found in the US will come with only e-SIM support, while the physical SIM card slot will also be given in the iPhone models sold in other countries including India. Due to this, there may be a slight difference in battery capacity.
IPhone 17 lineup battery
The iPhone 17 has a 3,692 mAh battery, which is 3.7 percent larger than the iPhone 16. The iPhone Air has a 3,149 mAh battery. It gives 22 hours of video streaming and 27 hours of video playback. Talking about the Pro model, the 17 Pro has been launched with a battery of 4,252 mAh. This battery is about 19 percent larger than the iPhone 16 Pro. The iPhone 17 Pro comes with the largest battery (5,088 mAh) in the Max lineup, which is about 9 percent larger than the 16 Pro Max.
