GTA VI: Rockstar Games have released a new trailer of a GTA 6. Recently, game developers announced that GTA 6 will now be launched in May 2026, which shocked the fans who were expecting it to come this year. For the last 12 years, the new part of this franchise has been waiting and now it has become even longer. But this new three -minute trailer has given a new hope to the fans from some interesting information.
New twist in Lucia and Jason Story
In the first trailer, we were introduced to Jason and Lucia, a criminals living in a fictional American state called Leonida. Now, the new trailer gives a glimpse of his past. Jason is initially shown driving in small work and then driving in Vice City (which is inspired by Miami).

According to Rockstar, Jason was a disturbed youth who joined the army to avoid the wrong company but on returning, he again caught the path of crime. He then brings Lucia out of jail where she was sentenced to protect her family. This is followed by many action sequences, romantic scenes and open world glimpses in the trailer such as armed robbery, party and jet ride on yacht.
New world and new characters
In this trailer, many new characters have also been exposed such as bank robber Raul Botista, smuggler Brian Header, and Rap Couple Real Dimz. There is also a variety in the locations of the game such as Miami -like beachline, marshy Everglades inspired by Grassrives, Industrial Area Leonida Keys, and mountainous Kalaga National Park. Each region will be the base of different gangs and fits such as Hilbili Mistics and Biker Gangs.
Does the real gameplay shown in the trailer?
The trailer did not have any direct gameplay footage of any kind, but it was full of cinematic scenes which are usually seen in the middle of the story mission. However, the trailer graphics surprised the fans. Rockstar confirmed that these scenes have been taken from PlayStation 5 and not from high-end PC. Rockstar has always been known for perfection and has avoided its games before. This time too, he said that he needs a little more time to deliver the game at the same quality level, which the fans expect. “
