This is being said that the Malayalam film ‘Marco’, which was being called the most violent film ever. Recently, big information came out about its satellite streaming rights. Actually the Regional Office of the Central Film Certification Board (CBFC) has rejected the petition of category change in ‘A’ certificate from ‘A’ certificate from ‘A’ certificate.

CBFC regional officer T. Nadeem Thufali said on Wednesday that the producers of the film ‘Marco’ had applied to change the class of their film, which was canceled by the Regional Examination Committee on 19 February. The film stars Unni Mukandan in the lead role. Which was released in theaters on 20 December with ‘A’ certificate. The film stream on the OTT platform Sonyliv from 14 February. Apart from this, it is also present on Amazon Prime.

Where is the problem

The CBFC official said that satellite rights are given only to films which have ‘U’ or ‘UA’ certificate. He said that parents should take care that children should not watch films with too much violence. He also said that the committee has recommended the government that this film should not be allowed to be released on online platforms. He further said that CBFC has no right to show the film on the online platform.

Marco makers added hands

Hanif Adini, who wrote and directed the film Marco film, defended the film and said that the writer-director should show what is necessary for the film’s subject. “This is not cinema that should be changed, but our view.” He said that Marco is not the first film in which violence is shown on screen. He also said that he is so tired in all this that he will not make such a film anymore. He said, “I will not make any film from now on which promotes violence.”

According to Sacnilk, Marco was a super hit at the box office. If it earned more than Rs 60 crore in the country, then the worldwide is more than Rs 102 crore.
