New Delhi: The first song ‘Shiv Shiv Shankar’ of the film ‘Kannappa’ has been released, which was launched by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar at his ashram in Bangalore. The event included ‘Kannappa’ director Mukesh Kumar Singh, actress Sumalata, Dr. Mohan Babu, music director Stephen Devsi and lyricist Ramjogaya Shastri and other celebrities. Through the song, the devotee has described his faith and love for Lord Shiva.

The production team released a statement expressing gratitude, stating, ‘Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Guruji launched our first song, which is like a blessing for us.’ Dr. Mohan Babu, the producer of ‘Kannappa’, also expressed his views about the launch of the song. He said, ‘Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Guruji launched this holy song, which is a matter of honor. ‘Kannappa’ is a deep film related to Lord Shiva and this moment realizes spirituality in our journey.

The Hindi version of ‘Shiva Shiva Shankar’ is sung by Javed Ali and Stephen Devasi has given music. The words of the track are written by Shekhar Astitha. In ‘Kannappa’, Vishnu Manchu played the role of ‘Kannappa’, while Preity Mukandan, Mohan Babu, R Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devraj, Mukesh Rishi, Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu and Madhu are in supporting roles. Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal will also be seen in the cameo. Mohan Babu has produced the film. ‘Kannappa’ will be released in theaters on 25 April.
