Here, Mohali Municipal Corporation Deputy Mayor Kuljit Singh Bedi met SE Naveen Kamboj of Gamada and handed over a demand letter to him and demanded renovation of entry points and bridges of Mohali. Deputy Mayor Kuljit Bedi said that the various entry points of Mohali, including Balongi Bridge, the bridge on the road connecting Chandigarh behind Punjab School Education Board Phase-8, the bridge near PCA Stadium and the bridge on Nipper Road, are sufficient. are old and in dilapidated condition.
The roads here are also very narrow, due to which the traffic problem is very difficult for the city dwellers and passers-by. They demanded that Balongi bridge should be raised and made new and wide. Similarly, the condition of Lucknow T-point on the road leading to Laundern, right next to the DC office, is also bad. He said that the settlement of traffic lights is necessary here.
SE Naveen Kamboj of Gamada said that a survey will be conducted in this regard and estimates will be prepared based on the survey report. He assured that efforts will be made to resolve these issues soon. A GAMADA official said that roundabout and road works are going on in the city on war footing.
